Our precious Teressa* Ann Sims passed away Monday, August 8, 2016 at the age of 68 years. She was born in Nashville, Arkansas July 4, 1948 to Conway, Jr. and Bennie (Richardson) Scroggins.
Ms. Sims was a resident of Saginaw, MI, was a graduate of Saginaw High School, she enjoyed shopping, traveling, “The Casino” and spending time with her sister and close friends. After 30 years of service, she retired from Delphi Automotive Systems and was a member of Local 699.
To cherish many wonderful memories Teressa leaves one daughter and two sons, Darrell (Mary) Sims, Visa Sims and Terrance Sims; 11 grandchildren, LaCresha, LaDareon, ShaQuarious, Darrell, Jr., Tayron, Daijah, Brianna, Terrance, Jr., Taniya, Tasiay and Yasmin; one great-grandson, Darrell III; her mother, Bennie Scroggins; step-mother, Adelaide Scroggins; one sister, Mary (Derrick) Roberson; three brothers, Frank (Barbara) Scroggins, Rickie (Sandra) Scroggins and David (Shawanda) Scroggins; one aunt, Zora Scroggins; a special nephew, Pernell Scroggins; a host of other nephews, nieces, cousins and many other relatives and friends including special friends, Mary Donn and Jackie Riley.
Ms. Sims was preceded in death by her father, Conway Scroggins, Jr.; grandmother, Mardell Easter; brother, Lawrence Scroggins; grandson, Antione Sims and fiancé, James Fuller.
Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 North Jefferson Avenue, Pastor Taurus Simpson will officiate with interment in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
