Clyde Walter Russell, 80, of Monterey, TN, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016, at his home in Monterey.
He was born Feb. 23, 1936, in Crossville, TN, son of the late William Russell and Mary (Ward) Russell. Clyde worked as a carpenter and was of the Baptist faith.
Clyde is survived by his son, Owen (Lisa) Russell of Crossville; daughters, Judy (Sam) Sablich of Monterey, TN, Linda (Jerry) Kirtchman of Crossville, and Kay (Michael) Smith of Crossville; step-sons, Derrick (Kim Lawson) Graczyk and Chris (Angie) Graczyk, all of Crossville; and the Russell sisters, Pauline, Roberta, Rilda and Betty, all of Crossville. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Clyde was preceded in death by his wife, Margarita (Graczyk) Russell; son, Dwayne Ray Russell; brother, Leonard Russell; and sisters, Lois Parson and Ritha McDaniel.
Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016, at 3 p.m. with Bro. Richard Rollins officiating. Interment in Creston Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Matthew, David, Bruce, Kenny, Willy and Josh.
