GEORGE BECK DIES AT HIS HOME FRIDAY
Prominent White River Twp. Farmer Succumbs to Pneumonia
George Beck, age 75, one of the most prominent farmers in White River township, died Friday night about 10:00 at his home. Death was due to arterial sclerosis and pneumonia.
Mr. Beck had been in ill health for several years and was confined to his bed for a period of several months prior to his death. He had lived in White River township his entire life and was probably one of the best-known men in that community.
Besides a large number of friends, he leaves several children to mourn his death. His wife died about seven years ago. The surviving children are Mrs. Marie Quiatt, of Stambo, Mich; Mrs. Myrtle Duke; Mrs. Laura Paris; Mrs. Tillie Craighton; Mrs. Clarabelle Cliff and George Beck; Albert Beck; Ernest Beck and Amsey Beck.
…Burial will be in the Salem cemetery.
