Mary Ann ("Mollie") Ragsdale married William S. Pass on 27 January 1881 in Grenada County, MS.
Most family trees show her as marrying Col. William Norwood Pass, while others show her as marrying William S. Pass, son of Col. Algernon Sidney Pass and Rebecca Crowder.

On 7 Dec 1899 in Grenada County, MS Mary Ragsdale Pass married Judge James Carter Longstreet (Jr.), the son of Judge J.C. Longstreet Sr. and Mary Ann Washburn Lamar, the daughter of Lucius Q.C. Lamar, Chief Justice of the Georgia Supreme Court and brother of Mirabeau Lamar, President of the Republic of Texas.
Judge Lamar was a nephew of the famed Southern orator Lucius Quintus Cincinnatus Lamar of Mississippi. Judge Longstreet's father was a first cousin of Confederate General James Longstreet.

James C. Longstreet and wife were members of All Saints Episcopal Church in Grenada where one of the stained glass windows was dedicated to the memory of James Longstreet and his wife Mary Ann.

Mary Ragsdale Pass Longstreet is shown in some censuses as Mary J. Pass rather than Mary A.
