One of two children of William BLANKENSHIP - both buried the same day. Born ca. 1864, according to his age on the 1870 census.

Mary Jane Galer's list of person buried in the Old Cemetery section of Linwood shows: 2 children of William BLANKENSHIP died of typhoid & pneumonia; interred 13 MAR 1871.

Edith Blankenship, Contributor, #46894126, reports: "William Henry Harrison Blankenship and his wife Martha Ann Josephine Hallenback (both buried at Linwood Cemetery) had two children who died about March 1871. I believe we can assign these children's names to the two graves you reference.

*William Henry Harrison Blankenship, Jr. was born about 1864 (1870 census) and died Mar. 1871.

*Grace G. Blankenship was born about Jan. 1870 and died March 1871."

This grave is evidently not identifiably marked. Probably buried in Dolores Autry's Section G, Lot 26 ("J. BLANKENSHIP" on step) in her "Historic Linwood Cemetery" book, edited by Lea L. Dowd et al., Volume 2, p. 116. Autry's Section G is part of the Old Cemetery section.
