Ref: (Nola Landphair) -- Will Corll was born Nov. 1, 1892, in Putnam county, MO. He was the son of Jonathan and Elizabeth Corll. He passed away at the hospital in Leon, September 23, 1948, at the age of 55 years, 10 months, and 22 days.

On December 17, 1945, he was married to Jessie Beede. He is survived by his wife, 11 step-children, and eight brothers.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother and three sisters, Delpha, Neva and Catherine.

He served in World War 1 from 1917 to 1919 and was wounded after seven months overseas. He was an active member of the Kellerton Post American Legion until failing health demanded complete dropping of all outside activities.

He was a good neighbor, a wonderful friend, a thoughtful son to his parents in their last years, kindly to everyone he met. Truly, the world is better for the years he spent among us.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:30 P.M. in the Kellerton Methodist church. The Rev. Frank Moore of Mt. Ayr delivered the sermon. The Rev. Harvey E. Butler gave the Invocation, read the Scripture Lesson and Obituary.

Interment was made in the Kellerton cemetery.
