Esther Mae Creasy, age 73, went home to be with the Lord January 3, 2006. She was born in Hopewell, Va. and later moved to the Chester area, where she had spent the last 20 plus years of her life. Ms. Creasy was a member of Harrowgate Family Worship Center in Chester. She is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Jean Cain of Hopewell, Va. and Margaret Gail Bussinger of Disputanta, Va.; a daughter, Tina Capps and husband, Berry, of Chester; a son, Rickey Sickinger and wife, Sheila, of Dinwiddie, Va.; two grandchildren, Allen Sickinger and wife, Connie, of Dinwiddie and Jason Meekins, of Chesapeake, Va.; and one great-grandchild, Grayson Sickinger of Dinwiddie. The family will receive friends at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Chesterfield on Friday, January 6, from 6 to 8 p.m., where funeral services will follow Saturday, January 7, at 12 p.m. Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park.
