She was predeceased by her husband, Louie in 1986, five brothers Jock, Harold, Fraser, Mike and Sid and three sisters Pat (Art) Buck, Dot (Peter) Aadland and Margaret (Vern) Butler.

Alice leaves to mourn her passing her children, Barry (Pat) of Shaunavon, Doreen (Don) Chadney of Castlegar, B.C., Linda (Leo) Gudmundson of Coaldale, Alberta and Roger (Joanne) of Regina Beach , along with ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Born on December 8, 1924 at Gull Lake, Saskatchewan, Alice spent her school years at Stonepile School . She married Louie Aldag in October, 1944 and lived in the Aldag District until moving to Shaunavon in 1984. Louie passed away in 1986 and Alice remained in Shaunavon until her passing. Alice was a devoted wife and mother, working alongside her husband on the farm while raising her four children. Barry and Roger both grew up to become professional football players, playing for the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Alice was at every game to cheer them on. She absolutely refused to miss a game in which one of her boys was playing. Both of her daughters Doreen and Linda are nurses. Alice was very proud of all her children and lived for their visits home. A consummate hostess, Alice never took her seat at the table until everyone else was served to her satisfaction. She usually ended up sitting down to eat when everyone else was almost finished. When she and Louie moved into Shaunavon, her yard and lawn became her passion, and she spent countless hours making sure that her lawn was one of the lushest in town. Her grandchildren were much loved and she often babysat, spoiling them as much and as often as possible. Alice made many friends in Shaunavon, and often held coffee parties in her home. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Honorary Pallbearers were Renae Magner, Shauna Jones, Sherri Aldag, Shonda Stevenson, Tammy Arendt, Rhonda Eyre, Randy Chadney and Kelly Aldag.

Pallbearers were Don Chadney, Leo Gudmundson, Shayne Gudmundson, Devon Aldag, Kris Aldag and Dale Stenson.
