Flora Robinson Smith, age 91, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away July 30, 2016. She was born May 15, 1925 in Carroll County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Will Robinson and the late Ida Craven Robinson. She was a graduate of Burwell High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Methodist Church. She joined the church at 12 years of age; was a member of the Pairs & Spares Sunday School Class and the Young at Heart Senior Adults. She was devoted to her family, her church, and community. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Hubert Smith; an infant sister and brother; brothers: Charlie Robinson, Lewis Robinson, and Stewart Robinson; and a grandson, Christopher Seay. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law: Sharon & Donald Seay of Carrollton, Georgia; son, Dr. William “Barry” Smith, MD of Warner Robins, Georgia; and two grandchildren: Cory Seay and Cameron Seay. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August 1, 2016 at 11:00 AM from Shiloh United Methodist Church with Rev. Jimmy Hearn officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
