Alma, 89, of Rockford, died at The Laurels of Shane Hill.
She was born in Fonde, Tenn., to John and Nancy (Wilson) Rose. On Nov. 28, 1933, she married William R. Taylor, who died in 1978.
Surviving are three sons, Jerry (Donna), Dayton, Ky., Frank (Marcia) and Elden (Kendra), all of Van Wert; a daughter, Nancy Wilson, Florence, Ky.; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four sons, Billy Joe, John, Rusty and Jimmy; a daughter, Mary Francis; two brothers, Elden and Carl Rose; and two sisters, Hila Seveir and Martha Butterini.
She was a homemaker and a seamstress for many years. She also was a member of New Horizon Community Church and its women's group, Rockford.
