Thomas Louis Fudge, son of Thomas Jackson "Jack" Fudge and Susan H. Austin was born August 10, 1916 , near Rhyse, Missouri. He passed away Sunday, November 17, 1996 at Texas County Memorial Hospital, in Houston Missouri, making his age eighty years, three months and seven days. He was baptized on September 2, 1951, and became a member of Boone Creek Baptist Church.

Thomas graduated from Licking High School, Licking, MO in the class of 1936

Thomas was united in marriage to Eula N. Reed December 26, 1939. To this union three children were born. He was a loving and devoted husband and father.

Survivors are his wife, Eula, of the home in Licking, Missouri; sons, Jerry D. Fudge and wife Janice, of Lemoore, California and Richard E. Fudge of Collinsville, Illinois; one sister, Cleo M. White of Burns, Oregon; grandchildren, Thomas E., Scott, Ricki, and Todd Fudge, and Lisa Neugebauer; great-grandchildren, Kirk and Kristin Neugebauer and Joseph Fudge: step-grandchildren, Ronald Boardman and Debbie Egger; step great-grandchildren, Sean and Cory Egger; also a host of many loving family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Tommy Ray Fudge, and a brother, Claudius B. Fudge.

For several years Thomas worked for West Plains Bridge and Grading Company moving heavy equipment. He retired in 1982. After his retirement he enjoyed traveling and spending the winter in Yuma, Arizona.

The Lord in his great wisdom saw fit to call Thomas home after a long illness. He endured his illness with great patience and trust in the Lord. His kind deeds and generosity will not be forgotten, but will live on in the lives of others. To know him was to love him. Thomas will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Services were held Thursday, November 21, 1996 at the Boone Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Boyd Gray officiating. Pallbearers were: Scott, Fudge, Todd Fudge, Travis Fudge, Don Bailey, Chris Neugebauer and Dee Burks. Honorary Pallbearers were: Thomas E. Fudge, Kenneth Reed, Bob Fudge, Ronnie Reed, Bernie Fudge and Donnie Reed.

Interment was in the Boone Creek Cemetery under direction of Fox Funeral home of Licking, Missouri.
