He was the retired owner of The Albert Russ Car Mart, on Preston Highway in Okolona and a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church.
Albert was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Louis Russ.
He leaves to cherish his memory his former wife and mother of their five loving children, a son, three daughters, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and his loving companion.
Visiting for Mr. Russ will be 11a.m. -8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
