Wilkinson, Elnora W. 96, passed away January 26, 2011 in Las Vegas, NV. She was born December 20, 1914 the daughter of John C. and Helma (Peters) Thrun. She worked at Brody Coat Factory until it closed. She married Robert H. Wilkinson on August 12, 1933 in Bartlett, IL. They lived in Chicago and Oak Park before moving to Elgin where they lived many years before moving to South Elgin and later moving to Las Vegas, NV in 1995. She is survived by 4 children, 2 sons Donald of Las Vegas, NV and Gene of Orlando FL, 2 daughters Sharon Wilkinson of Elgin and Jan Gabriel of Las Vegas NV, 3 sisters Henrietta Bates of Bourbonnais IL, Edna Chartier of Phoenix AZ, and Helma "Boots" Rosenthal of Bartlett, IL, 8 grandchildren 16 great grandchildren, and 10 great great-Grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert. Her son Gerald, her parents, Brother Lavern Thrun, 2 sisters Elizabeth Wencek and Dorothy Radatz. Son-in-law Leonard Gabriel. Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church 357 Division Street, Elgin, IL 60120 with Rev. Olin Sletto officiating. Burial will be private.
