Annabell W. Micklevitz, age 95, of South Elgin and former many-year resident of East Dundee, Ill., passed away on Thursday morning, March 24, 2016, at Tower Hill Healthcare Center in South Elgin.

Ann was born on Aug. 16, 1920, in Pingree Grove, Ill. She was the daughter of the late John and Helma (Peters) Thrun. Ann was a lifelong resident of the Dundee area and a longtime faithful member of the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in East Dundee.

Survivors include her daughter, Carol Bicknell. Ann is also survived by her son-in-law, Lee Beuten; her six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren; her sisters, Henrietta Bates and Helma "Boots" Rosenthal; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank Micklevitz; her daughters, Mary Lou Beuten and Dorothy A. Thelan; her grandson, Steven Leonard; seven sisters and two brothers.

Family and friends will gather for funeral services on Tues., March 29, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, East Dundee. The Rev. William P. Yonker will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dundee Township East Cemetery, East Dundee. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-8 p.m. in the Miller Funeral Home, West Dundee, and again on Tuesday morning at church from 10 a.m. until the service.
