Maxine Bullard Ramsey, 84, of Denton, Texas, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, at Denton Regional Medical Center Hospital in Texas.
She was born in Fieldale on May 23, 1921, to Charles Bullard and Elizabeth Bentley Bullard. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Sterling Ramsey.
She was a beautician and homemaker, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Martinsville.
Surviving are a son, Darhyl Ramsey of Denton; two sisters, Irene Byrd and Opal Prillaman, both of Bassett; and a brother, Glenn Bullard of Martinsville.
A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Roselawn Burial Park with Minister Lee Ashley officiating.
The family will receive friends at McKee-Stone Funeral Services from 10 a.m. until noon Wednesday, and other times at the home of Bill Prillaman, 1962 Reed Creek Drive, Bassett.
