Martin W. Tanking, 75, Sabetha, died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005. Mr. Tanking was born Aug. 13, 1930, at Seneca. He was a carpenter and owned and operated Fulton's Tavern in Sabetha for many years.
He married Sarah Elizabeth Colman. His wife, Sarah, died in September 30, 2000.
Survivors include two brothers, Sylvester C. "Bud" of Salina and Robert L. of Bellville, Ill.; and a sister, Celene Henry of Sun City, Calif.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Popkess Mortuary, Sabetha. A rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at the mortuary.
