ANNA KATHRINA MARGARETHA MORNER was born at her parent's home and orange ranch, on Yorba St. near Orange, California on 29 January 1892. She was baptised 21 February, 1892 and confirmed by Pastor Jacob Kogler on 24 June, 1906 in St. John's Lutheran church. Her mother's name was "Funck" and father's was "Fitschen", they had both immigrated from Lower Saxony in Germany and married in Orange.
She married William George Morner on the 14th of May, 1913, at her parent's home on Yorba St., Orange. She bore three children, Elmer (1917), Louis (1920) and Florence "Girlie" (1924). She was life long member of Saint John's Lutheran Church in Orange and was very active in the Martha Society and the Quilting Group of the church.
She died in Orange, Orange County, California on 21 June, 1993, at the age 0f 101+ and was, at the time of her passing, the oldest life-long member of her church.
