Mr. Dixon had been employed for 10 years at St. Elizabeth Hospital in housekeeping. He was an Army Veteran, having served in Viet Nam. He enjoyed time spent with his family, painting houses, and being outdoors.
Surviving with his wife are two step-daughters, Kelly Randle and Kim Zell of Lafayette; a step-son, Larry Mathes (wife Holly) of South Dakota; and three sisters, Linda Rice (husband Tony) of Kentucky, Pauline Threet (husband Shelly) of Muncie, IN, and Claudine Richeson (husband Tom) of Twinton, TN. Six grand-children and a close personal friend, Nellie Purk, who resided with Bobby and Sue for 19 years, also survive. Preceded by a brother, Charles Lane; a sister, Betty Golden; father-in-law, Jack Howard; step-father, Benton Garrett; son-in-law, Robert Zell; and three brothers-in-law, Steven Howard and Silas Golden, and Todd Howard.
