Wilfred J. Mailloux of 165 Lancaster St., died early this morning at Cohoes Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Belle River, Ontario, Canada, he was the son of the late Rudolph and Marie Ducharme Mailloux. He was educated in Cohoes schools.
A retired machine operator of the Star Textile Company in Cohoes, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus of Cohoes. He was also a communicant of St. Rita's Church in Cohoes. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Murray Mailloux; one daughter, Mrs. Edgar Belanger of Cohoes; two grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. from the Dufresne Funeral Home, 216 Columbia St., Cohoes, and at 11 a.m. from St. Rita's Church were a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford.
