Irene Ayotte died yesterday afternoon at her residence, 4 Strong Place, after a protracted illness. She was born in Belle River, Ontario and had resided in Cohoes for the past twenty years. She was a member of St. Marie's Church and was connected with the Ladies of St. Ann society and the Union of Prayer. Surviving are her husband, Charles Ayotte, one daughter, Loretta; three sons, Charles, jr., Ernest, and Wilfred Ayotte, her mother, Mrs. Mary Mailloux, three brothers, Ernest, Wilfred, and Louis Mailloux and two sisters, Misses Edna and Lorena Mailloux. The funeral will be held Saturday morning from the residence at 8:30 o'clock and at 9 o'clock at St. Marie's church where a requiem high mass will be celebrated. The interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford.
