Funeral services for the late Dr. Francis Marion Ewing were held at the home, 119 South Logan Street, at 3 o'clock yesterday. The service was the burial service of the Episcopal Church and was in charge of Rev. J. C. White, rector of Trinity Church of this city.
The services were attended by an unusually large number of representative people of the city and men representative of their profession of this county and Sangamon county. Half a dozen physicians from Springfield were here to do honor to their deceased friend and fellow worker.
In addition to the regular pallbearers the members of the Logan County Medical Association of which Dr. Ewing had been a member, acted as honorary pallbearers.
