Born January 30, 1928 in Sevier County to the late Robert and Evelyn Smith. Ruby was a member of Roaring Fork Baptist Church. Ruby worked in Gatlinburg in several shops before retiring at the age of 84.
She was a great cook and seamstress, and enjoyed a good laugh.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Warren Watson, sister: Mildred Howe and her husband, Eddie, brothers: Henry and Carl (Pete) Smith.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Donna Watson Messer and husband, Bill of Sevierville.
Grandchildren: Leslie McMahan of Pigeon Forge, David and Chasidy McMahan of Rome, GA. great grandchildren: Rian and Hannah McMahan. Several nieces and nephews, and sister-in-law: Crettie Smith.
Graveside services will be held at 9:00 AM, Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Smokey Mountain Memory Gardens with Rev. David McMahan officiating.
