The marriage to Charles Meadow was December 28, 1924 at the Painter's Banquet Hall in Chicago, Illinois. Eda's father's name was Joseph Owieczko and may have been called Joseph Levy or HaLevi. Mother's name was Margula maiden name was Storozum. Eda had one sister, Esther, three brothers, Peter, Maurice "Morris" and Jack. Eda's sister, Esther, and her mother were exterminated in WWII. Not sure about the father. The three brothers are on Find A Grave, last name Ovitsky. At the time of her death, Eda & Charles had five grandchildren, Alan, Marla & Neil Fradkin (Doris & Joe Fradkin's children), Adrienne & Paul Meadow (Bert & Phyllis Meadow's children). Eda's petition for naturalization was January 8, 1923. Eda entered the USA on the SS Finland, June 13, 1921 last residence from Ogrodova, Poland, came from Danzig into New York with her brother Jack Ovitsky. Eda died from lung cancer, but never smoked. Eda most likely developed the disease from second hand smoking when playing cards with her friends.
