JONES SERVICES HELD AT SOSO

SOSO, Jan. 31 - Funeral services were held from the Pleasant Ridge Baptist church for G. R. Jones, 86, who died at the home of his daughter Mrs. Oden smith, with whom he had made his home for the past several years.

Born in Hickory in 1849, he had been a resident of this community for many years, being well thought of by all who knew him. He was a member of the Suqualena Baptist church.

Surviving are six daughters: Mrs. H. L. Munn, Oak Grove, La.; Mrs. A. S. Johnson, Mrs. Alex Gates, Mrs. J. C. Keller all of Suqualena; Mrs. H. C. Faulkner, Longview, Texas, and Mrs. Oden Smith, Soso, two sons, W. J., Hattiesburg, and H. S. Jones, Meridian.

Pallbearers were: V. V. Ruffin, J. R. Ruffin, F. W. Kelley, R. G. McCarty, J. G. McWilliam, and H. W. William.
