Barbara J. Dunn
Barbara Jean Dunn, 63, formerly of Redmon, Illinois, passed away at 4:40 a.m. Thursday, August 23, 2012, at Helia Healthcare in Energy, Illnois, where she had resided for the last thirty years.
She was born May 4, 1949, in Paris, Illinois, the daughter of Carroll Livingston Dunn and Viola Fern (Poole) Dunn of Redmon, Illinois.
She is survived by two brothers, Carroll Thomas (Evelyn) Dunn of Paris, Illinois, and Richard Livingston (Jane) Dunn of Glen Ellyn Illinois; a sister Sharon Louise Dunn Doulgas (Ed Bramel) of Sierra Vista, Arizona; a sister in law, Kay Lynn (Crum) Dunn of Mossville, Illinois; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Joseph Leon Dunn, and an infant sister, Elaine Dunn.
She graduated from Mattoon High School and was employed by the Edgar County Human Resources Center. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Paris and the former Redmon United Methodist Church.
For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to First United Methodist Church of Paris.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 27, 2012, at Templeton Funeral Home in Paris with the Rev. Gary Fairchild officating. Burial will follow in Embarrass Semetery near Redmon. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at Templeton Funeral Home in Paris.
