Geraldine Goff Birdsong, age 85, went to her heavenly home Tuesday, June 28, 2016. She was born in Heber Springs, Arkansas to the late John William Goff and Bertie Leoda Kemp Goff.
She was preceded in death by her husband Sidney Coleman Birdsong; and by four brothers; Oather Goff, Hubert Goff, Sid Goff and Roy Gene Goff; Three sisters; Bertha Southerland, Lorene Fortner, and Linnie Mae Roberson. Two daughters; Martha Jane Birdsong, and Rebecca Lea Monk.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, John Thomas Birdsong, and wife Belinda, of Sherwood; two daughters, Mary Lynn Sloan, and her husband Peter, of Sugar Land, Texas, and Marsha Kay Xiques, and her husband Gary of Heber Springs, and son-in-law, Jerry Monk, of Heber Springs; along with eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Sugar Loaf Baptist Church in Heber Springs, Arkansas. The funeral service will follow the visitation starting at 3 p.m. with Brother Lloyd Blanton officiating. Internment will follow at Shiloh Crossroads Cemetery in Greers Ferry, Arkansas.
