She is survived by her two daughters, Donna Bogue (Ron) of Kearney and Kathleen Bennett (Tom) of Independence; four grandchildren, Kim Enriquez of Kansas City; Brian Bogue of Holt, Sherrie Buckley of Mulengar, Ireland, and Debra Bennett of Arlington, Virginia; and four great grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Stoner of Reno, Nevada, Pearl Craven of Blackwell, Oklahoma, and Mary Burkhead (Howard) of Calumet Oklahoma; brother, Robert Leck (Kathleen) of Geary, Oklahoma; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 57 years, Raymond Armstrong; parents, Dietrich and Anna Leck; sister, Freda Boevers; brothers, Gerhardt Leck, Richard Leck, and Bill Leck.
Augusta was a wonderful cook and was known for her breads and cinnamon rolls.
She was an active member of the Community of Christ Church in Liberty, Missouri. She was a long-time member of the Liberty Hospital Auxiliary and volunteered over 28,000 hours of service to the hospital.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the Liberty Community of Christ Church, 1220 West Liberty Drive, Liberty, Missouri. Visitation begins at 9:30 a.m. with the service at 11:00 a.m.
The family requests memorial donations to the Liberty Hospital Foundation or Outreach International.
