MCLEANSVILLE - Mrs. Ellen Athyleen Huckabee Rhew, 75, of Huffine Mill Road died Friday at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Briggs Memorial Baptist Church, of which she was a dedicated member. Burial will be in Midway Cemetery.

A native of Bennettsville, S.C., she was a retired employee of Young World Child Care Center.

Surviving are daughters, Ms. Naomi Kutz, Ms. Ruth Rhew, both of McLeansville; sister, Mrs. Frances Hodgins of Greensboro; brother, Raymond (Pete) Huckabee of Greensboro, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.

The family will be at Hanes-Lineberry North Elm Street Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. today.

Memorial contributions may be made to Briggs Memorial Baptist Church, 1344 Rankin Mill Rd. McLeansville, N.C. 27301.
