Jeff was employed at General Motors for over 30 years, retiring in 2006, and later was employed at Securitas Inc. Security from 2007 to 2015 at the Toledo Branch and since 2015 at the Cincinnati Branch. He was a very active member of the Millville Avenue Church of the Nazarene. His hobbies included motorcycling, gardening and walking his dogs, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Marcia Craig; two daughters, Jessica Medley and Janelle King; two stepsons, Chuck (Staci) Hansel and Craig (Kelly) Hansel; seven granddaughters, Whitney, Ella, Ainsley, Avery, Emma, Payton, and Lydia; one brother, John (Karen) Craig; two sisters, Gloria (Dave) Hayse and Beverly (Jim) Stewart; his beloved dogs, Ricky and Augi; and many nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton Cleves Road (State Route 128), Ross, OH on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. Pastor Todd Dixon and Pastor Jimmy Comstock will be officiating. Burial will follow in Darrtown Cemetery. Albert D. Hinkel, funeral director, is assisting the family.
