Bryan Baker, 89, of Kennett died June 20, 2016 in Kennett. Bryan was born to the late Thomas and Ida (Cook) Baker February 20, 1927 in Caruth.

He will be remembered as a hard working man who cared for many people over the years and the best fried catfish ever. His greatest joy was his grandchildren and especially his great grandchildren.

He married Lucille Wilburn on November 7, 1947 in Piggott. Lucille preceded him in death December 2003. He was also preceded in death by one brother John Hale Baker and one sister Mildred Duncan.

Bryan is survived by two sons: David Bryan (Jean) Baker of Parkinston, Mississippi

Robert Bruce (Pamela) of Virginia Beach, Virginia

Two Daughters Brenda Jane (Ray) Usrey of Kennett

Rebecca Keys (Steve) of Kennett

Two sisters Mary Nell Ford of Hornersville

Dora Stanislawky of Malvern, Arkansas

Ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren

Services will be 2 PM Friday, June 24 in the McDaniel Funeral Chapel with Reverend Jim Pemberton officiating, burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12 PM Friday at funeral the funeral home and will go until service time.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Grandsons and great Grandsons
