Thomas Singleton (1720 - 1788) and William Singleton (1748 - 1835) "late of Bagenalstown", Co Carlow who was possibly a son of Thomas Singleton (1720 - 1788), are buried in the same plot each marked by a separate memorial.
It is reputed that in the same grave there is buried another Singleton who was killed at Enniscorthy, Co Wexford in the 1798 Rebellion, likely in June 1798.
