Theodore "Babe" Emerson, 87, of Hanover Park for 30 years; born in Gary, Indiana; passed away peacefully at his home.

Father of Lori Lee Emerson, Jason (Elena) and the late Tyrone; grandfather of Lindsay Marie (Stephen) Fardelos, Amanda Lynn and Madelyn Nicole Emerson, Erin (Jesse) Klco and Nicholas Emerson; great grandfather of Evelyn Rose; brother of Robert Emerson and the late Dorothy Ruark, Jack Emerson, Donald Emerson and James Burke; son of the late Douglas and Alta, nee Horne; father in law of Cari Emerson; many loving nieces and nephews.

Babe served his country in WWII as a merchant marine and again during the Korean War with the U.S. Army. He collected Marilyn Monroe memorabilia, enjoyed crossword puzzles but most of all he valued his family and adored his grandchildren and great grandchild.

Visitation Saturday Nov. 14 3:00 pm until time of service 7:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett.

Cremation will be held at the Countryside Crematory following services.

In lieu of flowers Babe would prefer you promise NOT to vote for Hillary.
