Erasmus married secondly, Mary E. McKeever, daughter of Jacob and Rachel McKeever.
Children of Erasmus and Mary are:
*Virginia Luella Bean, born November 27, 1888, in Hardy County (five years after Luella Virginia died in childbirth) She married Thurman Brown and had six children.
Erasmus died March 3, 1910, of Pneumonia and is buried in the Bennett Bean Cemetery, in Hardy County, West Virginia.
