Child number five of twelve children born to a Sailor and a Lady Methodist Minister (what a combination!)

A descendant of the first MacBean/MacBayne in North America. If your family name is Bean, Beane, Beene, Bain, Bayne, MacBean, MacBayne, or Bee ... send me a note and I may be able to tell you how they are related to this common ancestor, who was captured in the Battle of Dunbar (Scotland) and shipped in a prison ship to Boston, where he was sold at Boston, into servitude.
