Friends and family may call at James A. Dyal Funeral Home on Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 2 o’clock PM at Lebanon United Methodist Church, 1383 Lebanon Road, Ridgeville. Burial will follow in church cemetery.
Fannie was born on June 14, 1922 in Berkeley County, SC daughter of the late Samuel Mouzon Blanton and Zadie Christine (Salisbury) Blanton. She loved working at Lebanon Quick Stop where she enjoyed making biscuits and enjoyed being with her friends and co-workers. She was previous owner of The Royal Lunch which was located downtown Charleston. She also worked for American Tobacco Company.
Surviving are: one daughter: Sandra O. Rusler (Buddy) of Ridgeville, SC; one brother: Henry Blanton of Lebanon, SC; two grandchildren: Terry Willis (Robert) and Tony Rusler (Renee); two great grandchildren: Matthew Willis and Zachary Rusler; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two sisters, Mary Singletary and Melwood Murray and her brother, Robert Blanton.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregivers Mary and Louise Myers and the late Pauline Hill and also to her family that enabled her to live her remaining days in her home in Lebanon.
