Albert Byrd Bretches, wife: Cora (Beathe) Bretches and nine of their children: back row: Bud, Ethel, Lydia, Lola, Hazel and Cora Bretches - front row: Ada, Mabel. Edna (my mother) Loyd and Albert Bretches. The tenth member of the family, Everett, was killed in a traffic accident in 1929 in Califoria where he was living with his family. This photo was taken in Elk County, Kansas in 1936 or 37.
