DINGUS, Chattie Martin Age, 91, of Printer, died Sunday, October 1, 2006, at the Riverview Healthcare Center in Prestonsburg. Born July 5, 1915, in Martin, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Amy Halbert Martin. She was a homemaker and a member of the Martin First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Dingus. Other survivors include a daughter, Merlene Dingus of Printer; a granddaughter, Amy Martin Shepherd of Printer; and a brother, Frank Martin of Printer. In addition to her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Martin. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 4, at 1 p.m. at the Drift Pentecostal Church, with Ted Shannon officiating. Burial will be in the Halbert Cemetery at Printer, under the direction of Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin. Visitation was at the church, with nightly services at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to local churches. (FCT'S 10-04-2006)
