Helen "Peachy" Clark, 84, of Ironton, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at the Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky. The Floyd County, Kentucky native was born March 13, 1932, a daughter of the late Elzie and Grace Privett Powers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James R. Clark, who passed away in 2007.
Mrs. Clark was a homemaker and attended the Auxier Freewill Baptist Church in Auxier, Kentucky. She loved the outdoors, taking care of her flowers and yard work. She also loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by:
three sons: James Monroe Clark, Billy Joe Clark, and Bobby Wayne Clark
a daughter: Wanda Jean Harmon
two great grandchildren: Scotty Seagraves and Elizabeth Branam
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South Seventh Street, Ironton, Ohio with Brother Rock Massie officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Friends and family may call on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
