John Baird-Farnsworth "Johnny TV," of Wisconsin, died June 3.
He lived a life that many only dream about. A very popular and handsome fellow, Johnny enjoyed making instant connections with people, and they always enjoyed his cool demeanor and sarcastic wit.
Nicknamed "Johnny TV" by close friends, John was known for his love of late night television shows. Much to the annoyance of wife and children, John had a penchant for impersonating his TV idols Ed Sullivan and Johnny Carson.

His devoted wife of more than 35 years, Judith, fondly recalls their life together. "Johnny always knew the right things to say to keep me laughing," Judith said. Spending their years together travelling, cycling and, of course, watching their favorite TV shows.

Judith survives John with their two sons, Logan and Philip.

John spent many years of his life in mass-marketing. He loved that TV could get a lot of people's attention, but later in life he found that TV's allure was decreasing. No matter how big a budget he had on a project, the numbers just weren't like they used to be. His sons would often try to tell him, "Dad, old media is dead." But to a man called Johnny TV, that was something he found impossible to believe.

In one of his last late night impressions, John dressed up like Carson's "Carnac the Magnificent." Performing for his wife and sons, he held up a sealed envelope to his head and said, "CrescendoCollective.com." After opening the envelope, he read aloud the phrase, "best way to get people's attention with new, digital media." After this epiphany, the man known as Johnny TV binge-watched some of his favorite shows online and passed away peacefully.
