He was born on October 18, 1937 in Punta De Agua, New Mexico to the late Alfredo and Louisa (Gallegos) Ballejos.
Fidel was also preceded in death by his sister, Jenny Jaramillo and brother, Richard Ballejos.
He is survived by his sons, Paul Ballejos of CA, Frank Ballejos of NM, Fidel Ballejos Jr. of CA and Mario Ballejos of CA; daughters and sons in law Diana and Fidel Chavez of NM, Lorraine and Garry Cabesuela of NM, Debora and Oscar Cardenas of CA and Michele and Juan “Chato” Cavazos of CA; brother Bennie Ballejos; grandchildren, Senaida Anaya, Corina Encinias, Antonio Chavez, Ramon Guerrero, Angel Vertiz, Paul Michael Ballejos, Lauren Ballejos, Joseph Milar, Andy Lamorena, Christy Lamorena, Mike Guevarra, Juan Carlos Cavazos, Ricky Cavazos, Corina Cavazos and Jenny Cavazos and great grandchildren, Moises Fidel, Alicia, Olivia, Marlie, Bella, Karly, Camarae Santiago, Devon, Paul Michael Jr., Ashlynn, Andrea, Joaquin, Lorena, Amorae, Malea Nive, Chloe, Stella, Daniel, Mikey and Sammy.
A Funeral Service is scheduled for Friday June 17, 2016 at the San Antonio Catholic Church in Torreon, NM at 11:00 A.M. Father Bob Peccatiello to Officiate.
