CECIL, MARY MURPHY, "BOBBIE," 71, of Louisville, died Friday, November 4, 2005, at her residence. She was born and raised in Springfield, KY, where she attended St. Catherine Academy and St. Catherine College. While attending first grade at St. Dominic Elementary School she developed the first of many friendships, specifically with four inseparable lifelong pals. "She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. Her infectious smile, love of conversation, homemaking and hospitality, will be greatly missed." She was preceded in death by three brothers, and three sisters, Jack, Tom, Durbin, Mary Theresa, Mary Oma and Mary Vivian. She is survived by her husband, Harold A. Cecil; a daughter, Sue Gutterman (Albert); a son, Anthony "Tony" Cecil; two sisters, Nadine Murphy and Margaret Ann Hardin; four grandchildren, Lee Gutterman, Michael Gutterman (Cristy), Chad Gutterman and Brooke Gutterman; and a great-grandchild, Kayla Gutterman. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, November, 7, 2005, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 7813 Shelbyville Rd., with burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Raywick, KY. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10:30 a.m. Monday at Highlands Family-owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Catherine College or Mass of the Air.
