Obit Errata:
JD was the son of my great uncle J Lee Veal. The obit at this site gives his father as James Lee Veal. I don't know who wrote that obit, but based on the 1910 Federal Census of Justice Precinct 1, Wise, Texas, United States, the Joseph Lee Veal household is recorded. JD's dad in various records that I've found list him as Lee Veal, J Lee Veal, J L Veal and Joseph Lee Veal, but never James. (Though he did have a half-brother named James.)
The obit should stand as written, however, this errata note or addendum has been added to point out that Joseph Lee Veal was to whom 'James Lee Veal' was really referring in the obit.
Lee Veal
Great Nephew of Joseph Lee Veal
