Winchester - John Earhart, 75 years old, and John S Lightner, aged 76, both of whom served side by side in Company E, First Virginia Regiment, during the Civil War, died a few days ago in Augusta county within a few hours of each other. Rev J E Purcell, of the Presbyterian church, conducted both funerals.
