Burial Held in Ord Friday; Leaves Two Children and Husband
Anna Margaret Bell, daughter of John and Jean Bell was born December 9, 1872 at Monmouth, Ill., and passed from this life at her home in Lincoln Nebr., January 10, 1950 at the age of 77 years.
She came to Nebraska with her parents in 1885, and settled on a farm just west of the Mira Valley Evangelical United Brethren church.
She was united in marriage to Walter J. Byington at the home of her parents in 1906. To this union were born two children, a daughter Edith and a son, Raymond.
She united with the Mira Valley United Brethren church while a young girl, later moved her membership to the Ord Methodist church when they moved into Ord. They resided in Ord nine years and moved to Lincoln in 1928. They left their membership in the Ord Methodist church, but attended the United Brethren Evangelical church in Lincoln.
She leave to mourn her departure, her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Edith Larbury [sic] of Topeka, Kas.; a son, Raymond Byington of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; two brother, John Bell of Ord, and Oliver of Hastings. There are many other relatives and a host of friends.
Burial was in the family plot in the Ord City Cemetery.
