Born June 20, 1932 in Slater, she was the daughter of the late Charles L. and Clora Jane Murphy Fizer. On February 27, 1955 in Slater, she married Richard D. Hupp, and he preceded her in death on July 19, 2010.
She is survived by a daughter, Patty L. Owens of Slater; two grandchildren, Ashley Sanders and Austin Owens; and two great-grandchildren, Ty Perrin and Kelbie Sanders. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Kay Hupp; five brothers; and five sisters.
Mrs. Hupp was a member of the Gilliam Baptist Church. She had worked as a cook at the Slater Nutrition Site, was employed as a CNA at the Big Bend Retreat for many years, and in addition, assisted her husband in their farming operation.
Mrs. Hupp died as the victim of a crime at her home, rural Slater.
Weiker Funeral Home of Slater was in charge of funeral arrangements.
