Cindy Irene Graves, 55, a lifelong resident of the Ripley Community and one of God's "Special" Children, peacefully departed this life to her Heavenly Home on Monday morning June 6, 2016 at the Tippah County Retirement Home where she had resided for the past 3 years.

A Celebration of Life for Miss Graves will be at 2 PM Thursday, June 9 at Unity Baptist Church near Ripley with burial in Unity Cemetery. Arrangements will be provided by The Ripley Funeral Home.

Born Dec. 3, 1960 to the late Isaac and Opal Irene Stepp Graves, Cindy was a cherished member of Unity Baptist Church where she loved serving her Lord, making sure her beloved pastor had a cup of water at his pulpit and being his "secretary".

Her family and friends were the love and enjoyment of her life and her giving nature will be an inspiration to all who knew her.

Having a great love for Christmas and Santa, Cindy will be remembered for her gifts of handmade necklaces, bracelets and paintings that she lovingly created and gave to others.

Visitation will be from 5 PM to 9 PM and continue Thursday at Unity Baptist Church until service time.

She is the sister of Grace Beavers, Hermie Henry, Syble Cook (Junior), Tommy Graves (Joan), Jimmy Graves (Pam) all of Ripley, Jean Reaves (Bud) of New Albany and Issac "T" Graves of Ecru. She also leaves her special friend, Paula Jackson of Ripley.

In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her brothers, Billy and Ray Graves and 2 brothers in law, James Beavers and Herman Henry.

WE LOVE YOU CINDY FROM YOUR FAMILY, FRIENDS AND CHURCH~ " BLESSED ARE THE PURE IN HEART...FOR THEY SHALL SEE GOD".
