McCraw was a native of Meridian and had lived in Jackson since childhood. He was a retired building contractor and a communicant of St.Teresa Catholic Church. He was a veteran of World War II, a life member of Toxie Stapleton Post 6473 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of the Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margurite Gammill McCraw of Jackson; sons, Jim McCraw, Thomas McCraw and Carl "Tony" McCraw, all of Jackson; daughters, Mrs.David (Sharon)Grimsley of Memphis, Tenn., and Miss Mary McCraw and Miss Lena Catherine McCraw, both of Jackson; brothers, Carl McCraw and Harold McCraw, both of Jackson; sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Creekmore of Amhurst, Ohio, Mrs. Harold (Jean) Jackson of Springfield, Mo. and Mrs. Albert (Nell) Tims of Dearborn, Mich. Four grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
