Anna Mae Broich was born May 6, 1927 to Pete and Frances (Becker) Schneider in Wilmont. They moved to Mankato where she graduated from school. Mae was united in marriage to Larry Broich on Sept 10, 1946 at Mankato. They were blessed with five children.

Mae and Larry moved to Wilmont where Larry worked for his Uncle in the insurance business. Mae worked at the Catholic School as a cook for many years. In 1969 Mae and Larry moved to Worthington and purchased a home there. Mae worked at Sather's in Round Lake for several years and then worked at the Wolf Store in Worthington and at a Gift store in Worthington. After Larry retired they moved to the Knollwood Apts.
