MANSFIELD: Esther Pauline Williams passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016 in Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital. She was 91.

She was born January 27, 1925 to parents Francesco & Rafina (DiAchille) D’Agostino in Mansfield.

On January 3, 1945, she married Donald L. Williams and they shared 59 wonderful years of marriage until he passed away in 2004. Now they are together again.

Esther worked as a lead inspector with Hamilton Standard, formerly Essex Wire, where she worked for almost 25 years until retiring in 1987.

Esther was a very active member at Resurrection Parrish. In spare time, she took pleasure in working on crafts at the Lexington Civic Center and gardening flowers. But above all, Esther cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by children Larry & Beverly Williams of Walters, OK, Diane & Greg Bartlett of Mt. Vernon, and Gary & Diane Williams of St. John Newfoundland, Canada; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; siblings Ann Thomas of Shelby and Charles & Wanda Augustine of Mansfield; sisters-in-law Helen Augustine formerly of Mansfield and Edith Augustine of Ashland.

In addition to her loving husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Sandra Lee Shade; siblings Mary Colarosa, Michael Augustine, Anthony Augustine, Josephine Augustine, Joseph Augustine, Jenny Krichbaum, James Augustine, Florence McCracken, Rose Augustine, Catherine Vogt, Dominic Augustine and Pat Augustine.

The Williams family will receive friends Monday, June 6, 2016 from 12 to 2 p.m. in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where a funeral service honoring Esther’s life will begin immediately at 2 p.m. The Rev. Father Nelson Beaver will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park.
