LULU ABBEY, 92, formerly of Dwight Street, co-owner with her husband of the former Abbey's drugstore in Hoyle Square, Providence, for many years, died Wednesday at the Berkshire Place Nursing Home, Providence. She was the wife of the late Albert G. Abbey.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Krikor and Takouhi (Gigerian) Vartan, she lived in Cranston most of her life. Mrs. Abbey was a member of Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church.
She is survived by two daughters and four granddaughters. She was the sister of the late Monroe, Richard, Leonard and Anna Vartan.
